"Login usually works, but the waiting was annoying"
Signing in is easy most days, but I did have to reset my password once. It worked fine after that, though waiting around for the reset email was frustrating. Since then, everything has been working okay.

I’d definitely recommend using profiles if you’re sharing with family. It keeps everything simple and organized, without turning into a messy mix of everyone’s stuff...

"Pretty decent for what I wanted"
I signed up mostly because I was trying to find more UK shows, and to be fair, Acorn TV does work here in Canada without me having to mess around with any weird setup or workaround. That was the main thing I needed.
The app itself is okay. I wouldn’t say it’s amazing, and there are little things that could be smoother, but it’s simple enough to use. The shows are more my speed too, especially the lower-key crime series and dramas.
There was one show I wanted that a friend in another country apparently has, which was annoying, but I guess that’s just licensing stuff. I can grumble about it, but overall I’m still using it and I’m happy with it.

I found my shows quickly, and the menus actually make sense, which was nice. I’m not totally sure about the overall quality yet, but so far it’s been easy enough to use.

"Works fine for my household"
It’s been enough for my house. We’ve streamed on two devices at the same time and I haven’t had any problems, so I don’t really get the complaints about it not being enough.

I've been using acorn TV on my Roku, iPad, and phone for a while now — I want to say since sometime last year, or maybe the year before. Either way, switching between devices has been really smooth for me. I can start watching on one and pick it up on another without any hassle. No complaints so far.

"Good shows, but the communication feels careless"
The shows themselves are good, but the way they handle billing updates and changes is kind of frustrating. Sometimes the messages come too late, and it feels like things are being handled carelessly instead of keeping customers in the loop. I just wish they explained changes sooner so there aren’t any surprises.

"Good new releases, just waiting on seasons"
I’ve been happy with the new releases lately. I don’t really pay attention to every little thing, but the stuff I do notice has been solid. My only gripe is that some seasons take a bit longer to show up than I’d like.

"Captions Are Mostly Reliable"
I was a little unsure at first, but the captions do work fine overall. Every now and then they show up a bit late, which can be slightly distracting, but it hasn’t been a major issue for me. I just wish they were a little more consistent so I could feel completely confident using them.

I’ve been using the Acorn TV app for a little while now, and yeah, it’s been easy overall. I can usually find what I’m looking for without poking around too much, and the shows load quickly enough for me.
One thing I do like is that it seems to keep track of where I left off, even if I switch from my phone to the TV. The layout is simple, which I appreciate because there isn’t a bunch of extra stuff getting in the way.
I think I had one small glitch at some point, but it wasn’t a big deal and hasn’t really bothered me. Overall, I’d say I’m happy with it and it works like it should

"I really like using this for the British..."
I really like using this for the British mysteries and all the foreign shows. There’s a lot to dig into, and some of it is seriously great. Anyway, it’s fine. I mean, actually, I love having this kind of stuff all in one place

"Good shows, app’s a little clunky sometimes"
I mostly use Acorn TV for British crime shows and dramas, and it does the job. The watchlist is handy because I can just throw stuff in there and not have to dig around every time. Viewing history usually remembers where I left off too, which is nice. Only reason I’m knocking off a star is the app can get kinda slow here and there, like it just drags for no clear reason. But overall, I still like it and keep using it.

I had trouble logging in and reached out to support. It took a little while to get sorted, but they did fix it in the end. i was starting to get annoyed, then boom, everything worked again. So yeah, ended up being a decent experience.

"Worth Checking Out for the Original Shows"
I’ve been watching some of the original shows, they’re good. If you’re in the community looking for something new to try, I’d say give a few of them a chance before writing it off. You might find a couple that are actually worth sticking with.

I’ve had Acorn TV for a few months now, since maybe March or April, I can’t remember exactly, and I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth. There are a lot of British shows and mystery series on there that I don’t really see anywhere else. The app itself isn’t perfect and can be a little clunky sometimes, but overall I think it’s a good value

"Mostly smooth streaming, just a small app issue"
Most nights, acorn works well for me, even on my older smart TV. The shows usually load fast and I don’t really deal with much buffering, which is, umm, the main thing I care about. I’m only taking off a star because the app sometimes freezes or hangs if I pause something for too long, and then I have to restart it. Not a huge problem, just a little annoying

"Really nice, and no ads??"
I’ve been watching acorn.tv mostly in the evenings, and the no-ads thing is what I appreciate the most. I can put on a show and just relax without getting interrupted every few minutes?? It makes a bigger difference than I expected.
The app itself is straightforward and works fine on my TV. It’s not super flashy, but I kind of like that. It’s just simple, easy watching, and sometimes that’s all I want

Streams look really clear on my TV and they don’t buffer much, which is nice. The audio is good most of the time too, though a couple shows seem a little quiet for some reason. Overall I’m happy with the quality for what I watch, no real complants
